Olight Warrior 3S

A rather special flashlight landed on our desk this week.  The Olight Warrior 3S Cu – yes that’s copper, the 5th element in a series of five limited edition models.  This one is a real beast, delivering up to 2300 lumens with an impressive 300 meter throw via its high performance LED sent through a TIR optic lens.  All this is powered by a gigantic 5000 mAh 21700 battery which can provide runtime of up to 55 days!

Key features include the smart proximity sensor which will dim the light accordingly when an object is blocking the view, 4-level battery and brightness indicators around the side switch, giving real-time reminders with a glance as well as IPX8 waterproofing.  All complete with holster and USB charging cable.  

Once again we find ourselves blown away by how far LED flashlight technology has come along in recent years.  The Warrior 3S lit up an acre without breaking a sweat.  My only gripe was the weight of this copper model – a whopping 10.7 oz which is a good 4 ounces heavier than the regular 3S models.  Either way it’s more than impressive.

As an added bonus I also grabbed an Olight Obulb Pro, which can be controlled locally or via bluetooth on your phone using their app. With up to 240 lumens, 84 hour runtime, IPX7 waterproof and 1.5-meter impact-resistant, this handy little companion will go down great with the kids on your next camping trip or even just around the house.
